Andy King

Mr King qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine, London in 2001 and completed specialist training in hospitals across the West Midlands, including advanced training at the Queen Elizabeth Liver Unit.

Dr King was appointed Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at the University Hospitals Birmingham in 2015 and is currently based at Birmingham Heartlands and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals, followed by appointment as training programme director for Gastroenterology in the West Midlands and training lead at UHB. He is a GMC-accredited supervisor and is an experienced endoscopic trainer who has been invited to teach on regional endoscopy training courses.
