Maitrey Darrad

Mr Darrad graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2007 and pursued surgical training in London, followed by seven years of specialised training in urology across Yorkshire & Humberside and the West Midlands. 

Currently, a consultant at University Hospitals Birmingham, Mr Darrad is among the highest volume urinary tract stone disease surgeons in the UK, annually performing over 60 miniaturised and conventional keyhole surgeries (PCNL) for complex renal stones, over 100 ureteroscopic laser stone surgeries, and more than 200 shockwave lithotripsy procedures. He also offers comprehensive metabolic evaluations to prevent urinary tract stone disease recurrence. In addition, Mr Darrad has expertise in various urological conditions, alongside penile and scrotal conditions.
