Profile
Mr Samuel Ford is a consultant surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2001 and undertook specialist surgical training in general and upper GI surgery. Sam was awarded a PhD in cancer biology from the University of Birmingham.
Hernia surgery is a significant element to Sam’s practice, and he offers repair of large and recurrent incisional hernias as well as inguinal, umbilical, femoral and more unusual hernias of the abdominal wall. He is experienced in laparoscopic techniques for hernia repair and will help decide if your hernia is suitable for this type of surgery.
